Alivia's Princess Baby Album

Cover
This is the cover to Alivia's Princess Baby Album. I do not have all the photos in the album yet but at least it is finished. (At least for now, I may add a few more embellishments but it looks ok)

Page 1
This is the happy couple. My daughter, Amber & her husband, Bill. This is the first doctor appointment. I am so happy they let me (grandma) tag along. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat! I cried of course. My first grandchild. At this point we didn't know if the baby would be a boy or girl! I didn't care. I just wanted a healthy baby and safe mommy. So in the beginning this album had very little pink. As you can tell once I found out I was having a granddaughter I added all the PINK! and of course all the princess embellishments.

Page 2
The little half page to the left is page 1.5 I guess it is from the ends of the paper bags as this is a paper bag album. It's my very first paper bag album.

Page 3
This is my daughter, listening to her belly. She is using her grandpa's stethoscope. She is trying to hear the baby's heartbeat. Amber was very close to her grandfather. He passed away in June and we found out Amber was pregnant in October. So we were all still grieving his loss. It made using grandpa's stethoscope a little more special.

I also really little this little bear! With is little wand ...he is just adorable!

Page 5
Isn't this little sleeping bear so adorable!

Page 6
This is one of my favorite pages I love this crib! It's so CUTE! I can't wait to get a picture of Alivia sleeping to put in here. Plus maybe one with her playing in her pack-n-play with some toys. I love this tag with this little bunny he is SOOOO Cute!

Page 7
I really like this little turtle too. He is really cute. I will try and get the rest of the pages photographed and uploaded in a few days to finish showing you this album.

Page 8
This is the classic bath tub page. I can't wait to put some cute photos of Alivia!

Too Cute
Page 10
This last page is not complete as you can see. I need to mat this but I was not sure if I wanted to mat it or just round the corners on the photos. So I left it blank.

Tags
This is just two of the tags in this paper bag album. Each bag has two tags with each side matted with a place for a 4x6 photo. I used one tag  to journal about the photos. All the tags large or small could be used for photos or a journal spot.

Once again thank you all for being so patient. If you like this album please leave some comment love on this page. Become a follower too. We would love to have you visit often! I promise I am trying to post more often! It's that life is just so darn busy. LOL, I am a very active person. I have friends that I like to stay in contact with, plus my granddaughter, Alivia plus other hobbies & interests I have besides my cards & scrapbook albums.
Thank you for stopping by!
Leave some comment love if you have enjoyed this album so far!

"Stack the Deck" mini album (Rosewood collection from Wal-mart)

Hello Everyone,
I have been busy making a mini album. I am using Laura's (following the paper trail) Stack the Deck method. This paper is from Wal-mart ($5.00) it is the Rosewood collection. I love this paper. It reminds me of old valentine cards. I only have the album put together and paper on the pages I do not have any of the embellishments on the pages yet. I just wanted to let you know what I have been up to.

Front Cover

Like I said I have not done any of the embellishing yet. Here are the pages.

Page Eleven

Page Twelve (Last Pg)

I have not put paper on all the tags but I have done one. I will show you each side of the tag I have finished. I also want to make some more tags. I need to make some tags with room for journaling too.

Tag 1 (front)

Tag 1 (back)

I think on the other tags I will put photo mat on one side and journal spot on other. I will make one like that and see how I like it. Or on one side put small photo mat and small journal spot. Not sure ...I will make some samples and see what I end up liking with this paper. I am checking out mini albums by other artists that I really like. I have been watching some of Kathryn videos from Scrap Beach. Of course I am checking out other albums from Laura since it is her "stack the deck" method of binding that I am using. Here are links to some of their work.

***Special Thanks *** to Kathryn & Laura for sharing their talents with us.

THANKS, Kathryn Krieger (scrap beach)

THANKS,  Laura Denison (following the paper trail)

MY FIRST BABY ALBUM

This is the cover and the first two pages. In the pocket of page one is a three photo tag (front & back) so that is a total of six photos.  There are three tags in the pocket of page two. There is room for journaling on the fronts and photos on the backs. You could also put a photo on the base of the page.
These are pages three and four.  I like the way these turned out. The yellow photo mat slides under the teddy bear and the blue photo mat comes out of the bath tub. You can put a photo on one side and journaling on the other or a photo on each side. You could also put a photo on page behind the photo mat in the tub.

These are pages five and six. I really like the tags in the crib. You can journal on front and put photo on the back. The mat on page six flips up so you can add two photos. You could also put a photo on page down in the crib.

These are the last two pages. The yellow mat comes out and you can put photo on each side or photo on one side and journaling on the other. You could put photo under the yellow mat as well as the two on the mat.   In the pocket on the last page there are three tags for journaling. There is a photo mat that space for three photos on each side. This makes room for six birthday photos. You could also put photo or photos on the back page behind the tags.

***Special Thanks ***     I want to thank Laura from following the paper trail for her inspiration. Watching her videos I found the courage to try this. THANKS, Laura
